Those of you who read this blog know of my great enjoyment of the TV series WKRP. Anyone who has ever worked in radio can relate to this series. If was in syndication for years and you could catch it often. Then it dissapeared. Now an obscure cable network "American Life" is running it on Monday nights, several episodes. If you can't catch it there, Fox has released it on DVD. However, there is a lot of discussion about the editing of the original records that were part or many shows. The syndicated version had a lot of these cuts but apparently the DVD is worse. It's just a matter of time, til some enterprising video geek goes back and edits in the correct songs from the original.
